Swisspearl Windstopper Basic Building Boards

Swisspearl Windstopper Basic (Formally known as Cembrit Windstopper Basic) represents a specialised type of building board designed for exterior walls with a windproof membrane. These boards are composed of grey cement and limestone filler, reinforced with carefully selected fibres that possess the ability to absorb and release moisture without compromising the board’s durability, strength, or performance. Unlike traditional manufacturing methods involving compression, the unique production process results in a naturally rough surface, allowing for direct insulation placement on the inner side of the board. The boards are resistant to rot, fungal growth, and can withstand significant fluctuations in weather and climate conditions. Swisspearl Windstopper Basic is also non-combustible and, when installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions, can serve as a temporary facade for up to 6 months.
