Proctors Wraptite Membranes

Proctor’s Wraptite is a unique external airtight solution, thatis not only highly vapour permeable, yet airtight – but also self-adheres in order to ensure a consistent and impermeable external seal.

Where a full wall envelope is required Wraptite’s self-adhered backing ensures an airtight seal but resistance at laps against water penetration, dust, air infiltration and wind resistance making it an excellent choice for this application.

Wraptite has an Sd-value of 0.039m, meaning that any construction moisture can dry out more quickly and lower the risk of condensation, or mould and mildew damage including metal corrosion and timber rot.

The vapour permeability of Proctor’s Wraptite membrane gives you flexibility in the placement of the air barrier, so it can be positioned outwards in the construction without the risk of trapping moisture.   This means that there is less potential for damage from following trades and reducing air leakage to help meet pressure test targets.
